Steve's Summer Update
What's going on at the Orchard

Dear Friends,

Despite our unusual spring weather we appear to have a good crop of apples growing in the orchard.  Our earliest varieties--Zestar and Paula Red--have been affected by the freeze and frosts events we had in April and May.  These varieties will be in short supply.

The mid and late-season varieties appear to be doing well.  Honeycrisp look especially abundant at this point.

The pumpkins and squash have been planted and are just beginning to germinate.

We look forward to seeing you this fall at Golden River Orchard.
